We went skiing with 2 of Curt's co-workers (Leo and Tom) one Saturday. Unfortunately the snow in Switzerland hasn't been great since, well, December. Villars is at a very low elevation and it was interesting to ride lifts across the mud on our way to ski. The base elevation is 3,937 feet and the summit 6,890. It felt like spring skiing.
There was, in fact, snow there. We enjoyed the day in the sun even though it was a bit icy
