Lisbon
I LOVED Portugal! To my surprise, half of the people I stopped didn't even speak Portuguese. I was looking forward to practicing my Portuguese. Guess I just stopped all of the tourists.
Well, we had a gorgeous day and saw many beautiful sights. I would go back to Lisbon--there is so much to see!

Note the bridge in the background. It looks just like the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco (most likely due to the coloring). We were interested to learn that the bridge in Portugal, called 25 de Abril, is 2,270 meters (1.4 miles) while the Golden Gate is 2,737 meters (1.7 miles). They are so long!

I also loved the snacks we bought in Lisbon. They had many of the same pastries as I loved in Brazil.
